Bag Care
General Advisory:
We advise AGAINST washing your bag unless it is made of 100% cotton yarn. Fully washing your bag is NOT recommended for other materials and could potentially damage it. If customers choose to wash their bags and they do not follow our recommendations, they do so at their own risk, and any liability lies with them.
To extend the lifespan of your handbag, please follow these care instructions.
Cotton Yarn Bags (100% Cotton)
Instructions for Machine Washing
- Temperature: Wash at 30°C.
- Detergent: Opt for liquid detergent instead of powder. Avoid using fabric softeners.
- Machine Settings: Use the delicate or hand wash cycle. Place the bag in a dedicated laundry bag.
Preparation:
- Cover all metal fittings with cotton cloth and secure them.
- Remove any chains/attachments and wash them separately by hand.
Post-Wash Care:
- After washing, wrap the bag in a towel to absorb excess moisture.
- Reshape the bag and let it dry upright to maintain its form.
Instructions for Hand Washing
If you do not wish to machine wash your bag, gentle hand washing is also recommended. Please note that customers should not rub the material as it could fray the fabric.
Other Materials:
Only minor, gentle hand cleaning is recommended. Use a damp cloth or sponge to lightly clean the surface. We recommend that customers do not rub the material harshly as it could fray the fabric.
For any of our bags, it is possible to apply a fabric impregnation treatment to make the bag water-resistant.
